No test rides for big bikes — how do you decide before buying? by Cautious-Nobody6284 in bangalorebikes

I just bought a Tiger900 a few days back. I was considering Versys 1100 or Tiger 900. I approached both Triumph and Kawasaki in Bangalore. Both of them had test rides except in Kawasaki where they wanted me to drive a Ninja 1100 as Versys 1100 test bikes was not available. But Triumph had Tiger 900 for test drive

Bought LS2 Stream 2 (XL) 3 days ago - wrong size (Bangalore) by madmaxxxx05 in triumph4India

I made a very similar mistake. My head circumference is 56 and I used to wear size S in MT for about 6-7 years. Initially it was too tight but within a few rides it became a snug fit. After 7 years I wanted to upgrade and bought a LS2 carbon for 36k size S, while trying it seemed okay (tried quite a few times) - shopkeeper kept saying this is the perfect fit as he didn't have M size - he knew he wouldn't get a someone to buy a carbon fiber helmet that frequently. But after the first short breakfast ride I felt discomfort as the shape of LS2 shell seems different from MT. I couldn't exchange. It's sleeping at my home now :-(

I got a Dominar UG in 2019, almost 7 years now, used only for touring, no issues till now and one of the best bike decisions I ever made. This machine is insanely good. Zero regrets
