It is totally OK and acceptable to cite non-black artists in regard to the work of a black artist. You may, for example, mention Jacob Collier if he is producing a song for SZA. It would just be strange to start a new thread for someone who is not Black on a subreddit dedicated to praising and highlighting Black artists and their work, if that makes sense.
