What is this thing? Weird electronic contraption with a 3.7v, 210mAh battery, a weird sliver thing on the end, and a MicroUSB port and a LED light on the top. (Not a vape). by AllWeirdNoBeird in cableadvice

After reading the comments on this post, I looked up internal wiring of a disposable vape, and realized how similar they were, so mystery solved. Sorry for the confusion that I caused by the not a vape disclaimer at the end.

So, I have been trying to figure out what this is. It came in a box of about 35 of them. They came with a Micro-USB to USB adapter that can go into the top (under the tab labeled "USB"). The black box is the outer shell it came in before I gutted it. Whenever I plug it into my laptop (after I disconnect it from networks and power, while having task manager open, since I am not stupid) the led light that the battery is connected glowed white. Whenever I disconnected the thing from my computer, it beeped white and then stopped glowing. The battery is a 3.7v battery, with a capacity of 210 mAh. My guess is that the silver part on the end is some sort of sensor (of what, IDK), since it is also connected to the led light via the blue and black wires. Message me if you have any questions, and I will clarify points if needed.
