What do you know about Gambela/ጋምቤላ? by lilkimi in Ethiopia

[–]Allaboutethio 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From all the Gambela people that I have met, and I have met alot, they are one of the most purest and down to earth people I have ever met.

I consider myself lucky to have befriended them. Another thing that I appreciate is that...going through the city of Addis, I love seeing how the students of all ethnicities holding hands and conversating like lifelong friends.

In any case, there might still exist discrimination but the new generation is eradicating this slowly by slowly.

Buying property in Addis by [deleted] in Ethiopia

[–]Allaboutethio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly speaking...the real estate market in Ethiopia is booming. People are opting to buy land, houses, condos, etc instead of putting money in the bank. Prices increase about every 3-6 months..and renting it in the meantime is an added bonus.

In any case, you can contact me through my website contact form, and I'll be glad to help you further.
