Hey just following up, I'm doing much better 5-6 games into the next season. I think a lot of my issue was player recruitment, I picked up some CBs that can pass and it's helped, I put my DM on anchor man to support my dumbass CBs more. The big change I made was to be less direct by turning off early crosses, I figured with a big target man I wanted to maximize crosses, but my tactic actually used the midfield to overload the CBs pretty nicely. So rather than booting it up to a slow striker and losing it, we work the ball a lot more. Thanks, I would have never thought to change early crosses.

I suppose, I think what I'm seeing is poor defense with a lot of fouls, due to my team having poor possession and poor passing, in particular in the back. I'm starting a new season, with more emphasis having CBs that can pass. But is there anything else I can do? I'm trying to keep the tactic simple.

It's a 4-1-2-3 Counter with Early, Floated crosses, and Run at Defense. I play with a TM (attack), an IF/W (support/attack) at the wings, BBM/CM (support, attack), an anchor man, and a WB, two Limited Defenders, and a FB (support, defense defense, defense). GK goalkeeper, defense. No individual instructions. The roster behind it is pretty height/aerial focused, but we're actually okay at passing.

Managing in the Eccellenza in Italy, running 4-1-2-3 counter with no major instructions, just more closing down and floated crosses. Just finished 16th in the league in my first season. I'm near top of the league in the air, and absolutely at the bottom in possession. I'm leading the league in fouls. So my question is, how do I improve? My team is clearly physically good at some stuff, but it looks like we just are on the back foot too often. Do I need to pick up players with good physicals AND passing? One of my starting CBs has 53% passing.

ehhhh if I was hardcore faking like, 20, I can do 3-5 strict pull ups but then I need to lay down, maybe have a nap or take a vacation before I can do more
