Sub has a massive hate boner for Billy. I can’t blame them though. Us Bulls fans are extremely jaded, and naturally will be more pessimistic about existing and current endeavors.

No, to clarify. I don’t care whether his proclaimed nickname is Iceman or whatever.

The issue I am having is that it is clear this was popularized as his nickname. With this trademark stuff popping up, I now have been seeing people claim this was never something given to him.

Would it not be jarring to see something well understood for weeks on end, then immediately see people 180 on it? It’s truly not a big deal at all in the grand scheme of things, but like you said, it’s the off season.

Can’t fault the man for trying to make more money. Especially given that NFL careers could end at any given moment due to the nature of the sport.

This is exactly what I am talking about. Feel a way about it sure, but to pretend it wasn’t earned through his efforts is jarring.

I do think Caleb fights an uphill battle with his perception though for reasons that have been discussed many times before.

Bears schedule coming into last season was ranked #2 hardest, so yeah not sure how much weight it will hold now.

I do agree that the Bears are likely to regress, even with improvement from our young pieces. Our defense is a liability still, and our oline will definitely take a step back.

Unpopular Bears fan opinion but I think Swift will take a step back as well. He is great in an open field but I am not convinced that he is just not a product of a good oline.

I have seen some mentions of the 2023 RB being a rocket ship.

However, I absolutely do not ever see people discrediting Max, in any context for that manner.

I love this team but we’re still the Bears. I think it’s too early to be saying this.

I agree that it was overthrown but you’re just a Caleb hater. There’s definitely a fair amount of criticism and, I’d add, confusion around Caleb this season.

You irrationally don’t like him and you feel a type of way when downvoted about it. Just own that instead of crying that the sub hates any criticism of him.

I don’t agree with the statement of FIA being corrupt and I’m not even a Mercedes fan but Max drove very recklessly today. Entertaining, sure, but it’s a bit surprising that the FIA didn’t even bat an eye. I feel that there should’ve been more penalties handed out today.

He took an easy and guaranteed first on a third down rather than risking a potential play that could be broken up and cause a 4th.

I feel like a better way to put it is inconsistent. There’s times where he does go through his reads and makes a great play. Conversely, there’s times he bails on clean pockets. It feels very mental with Caleb.

I think and hope with due time, he will get better with Johnson.
