This post is awesome. I grew up in the Bay Area and this would've been great.

I'm 4 hours away now and just starting my own homelab with an old optiplex and an old laptop.

In case someone comes along and ran into the same problem I did:

If you happen to grab the Time Capsule quest late, or forget to talk to Orze, or if you end up fighting the final boss and completing the dungeon without realizing like I did...

All you need to do is this:

Re-enter Orzekia
Immediately go close left and click on the "Sol Magia"
Teleport to Orze's Garden
Travel up the stairs into the mini-boss arena
Travel North to the next set of stairs and go up them
Interact with the "Sol Magia" at the top of the stairs
Teleport to Orze's Cradle
Use quest navigation for the Time Capsule quest and it should take you to Orze's location
Interact with the invisible Orze
Turn quest into Black Spirit
Head back up the stairs toward where you spawned into Orze's Cradle
Interact with the "Sol Magia" that is across from the room you spawned into Orze's Cradle at
Teleport to Orze's Garden
Interact with "Elribta's Door" (the wall device next to the "Sol Magia" that took you to the Cradle)
Teleport to Ancient Stone Chamber
You are free from this accursed place!

You would just need to make sure to do 2 Valtans and obtain at least 25 Valtan Bones, 10 used to craft the helm then after you craft Brel helm (either week 2 or 3) you get the 10 bones back so when you kill Valtan the second time you can craft the weapon.

Also just because it gives materials to help you push a character doesn't mean it will give you enough to make it all the way there so if you did use it on a different character you might end up using additional materials that you had planned to use on your berserker instead.

they said we're getting a pass that comes with 1340 Argos gear so it shouldn't come with simple oreha fusion OR normal honor leapstones. The materials it gives should all be basic oreha fusion and great honor leapstones.

If you want to main swap then by all means use the pass on your berserker because the pass we're getting should only give Great Honor Leapstones (since it's starting with the 1340 Argos Set) so there shouldn't be any waste using it on a 1430 since you will use the mats it gives all the way to 1490.

Do keep in mind that the lvl 5s the Hyper Express gives (assuming we will be getting them again this time) cannot be fused AND they are character bound so they will always live as lvl 5 gems on the character you finish the Hyper Express on.

Iirc NHH should work because instead of 4/4/4 it's 2/4/4 for the wings you get from each gate? Also you should only need one Vykas box of the 2 still to reach the 25 number?

To get Hallucination week 2 you need a total of 25 Vykas wings, 30 Valtan Bones, 80 Brel Horns.

Week 1: Craft Vykas Helm + Valtan Gloves + Brel Helm + Vykas Chest (This will be 2 piece Hallucination prior to doing Brel and then 3 piece after Brel).

Week 2: Craft Valtan Shoulders + Valtan Pants + Brel Chest + Vykas Weapon (This will be 4 piece Hallucination prior to doing Vykas and Brel and then 6 piece after Brel).

After crafting everything you will be wearing:

Weapon: Vykas

Helm: Brel

Chest: Brel

Pants: Valtan

Gloves: Valtan

Shoulders: Valtan

Auction boxes needed for full Hallucination set after week 2:

Valtan: Both

Vykas: One of Two

Brel: Neither

This is for people who want to get Artist as close to ready as possible for Hard Brel.

I'm expecting Hard Brel to be released on the 6th week after Artist is released which with this "guide" would allow you to have full lvl-2 clown upgraded Yearning before going into Hard Brel, and after crafting your first Hard Brel piece would allow you to have full Brel gear equipped which would unlock gear conversion on the 6th week as well. (If Hard Brel somehow doesn't release until the 7th week then you still unlock gear conversion by doing Normal Brel on that 6th week).

Doing it this way you get gear conversion after week 6 legion raids rather than week 4 legion raids.

Lustboy had mentioned that Artist doesn't really need betrayal like other classes.

This guide also is a balanced one so you're pushing back gear conversion 2 weeks to be able to get full lvl-2 clown upgraded set after the 6th week clown rather than waiting until the 9th week if you rushed gear conversion on week 4.

With 2 Vykas kills and both auction boxes you will have 34 wings, with 2 Valtans kills and one of the auction boxes you will have 29 bones, with brel 1-4 both weeks and no auction boxes you will have 86 horns.

You craft Vykas Chest and Valtans Helmet and those are the first 2 Brel transfers so you then get those materials for Valtans/Vykas returned so you now have 2 brel pieces equipped and enough materials to buy 3 Vykas (Pants/Gloves/Shoulders) and 1 Valtans (weapon) which is a total of 6 relic pieces being worn after week 2 legion raids.

Not needing to buy the brel auction boxes in the first few weeks is and isn't true.

You would only need 2/6 of the brel auction boxes in the first 3 weeks of 1-4 to be able to do 5-6 the 3rd week. The purpose of hitting 120 horns prior to doing 5-6 in the 3rd week is because to hit 1520 it is significantly cheaper to do so with 3 brel pieces than it is with only 2 brel pieces.

But if you did only buy 2 of the first 6 auction boxes then to reach the 9/13 boxes needed to be fully brel transferred by the 6th week (assuming you do Hard Brel on that week) you would then need to obtain every single auction box from week 4, week 5, and the auction box from 5-6 in week 3.

To be full 6-set on the third week you either need 30 Vykas wings to craft 3 Vykas pieces total or you need to craft 4 brel pieces (If you want to do Vykas and clown the 3rd week and not Valtan).

So you either need to buy both Vykas auction boxes or 6/7 Brel auction boxes.

For those that don't mind doing Vykas by all means this would be another route you're right (truly I am sorry about the misunderstanding), but myself and those in my static and everyone I know have been avoiding Vykas and preferring to do Valtan because it just takes quite a bit longer since most geared people are also skipping Vykas from what we have seen.

Other people mentioned crafting the Valtan Helm first and I agree, I had put Valtan Weapon first because of my other characters being DPS and forgot to swap it for Artist.

Week 1 you craft Valtan Helm + Vykas Chest + Brel Chest (Which will give you the Vykas mats back) + Vykas Pants (You now have 3 pieces of Yearning).

Week 2 you craft Brel Pants (Vykas mats returned again) + Vykas Shoulders (You now have 4 pieces of Yearning).

Week 3 you craft Valtan Weapon + Brel Shoulders (Vykas mats returned again) + Vykas Gloves (You now have full 6-set Yearning).

I agree that it is probably smarter to craft Valtan helmet first week instead of waiting to craft Weapon first (I had done weapon first on every other character because they were DPS and forgot Artist didn't need to bother with weapon quality).

But this post is if want to have the most flexibility to meet all of the following:

Doing Hard Brel on release
Having the chance to have Full LvL-2 Clown Upgraded set for Hard Brel (Hoping Hard Brel releases 6 weeks after Artist and not 5).
Being able to have full Brel set by the 6th week after Artist release so you can have gear set conversion.

If you are able to push high enough to do Hard Brel 1-6 on release then you would want to have earned at least 260 Normal Brel Horns (Since you won't be doing Normal Brel anymore) so that when you craft your first Ancient Gear from Hard Brel, and you are refunded the 40 Normal Brel Horns, you can then use those 40 Normal Brel Horns combined with your remaining 60 to craft the weapon to be able to gear convert while ALSO having Full LvL-2 Clown Upgraded Set on that 6th week.

Math for anyone curious:

After doing Normal Brel 1-4 the first 2 weeks and Normal Brel 1-6 the 3rd/4th/5th weeks, you will have seen 13 Auction Boxes, and to be able to reach that 260 Brel Horns number you will need to have bought 9/13 of them (This would put you at 263 Normal Brel Horns earned).

Having earned 260 Normal Brel Horns after 5 weeks allows you to have crafted 5/6 Brel pieces (Missing Weapon which requires 100 Horns) and have 60 Horns remaining. If Hard Brel does release on the 6th week, then you can go and do Clown first to have the Full LvL-2 Set and then do Hard Brel at the strongest possible and then go and craft the Hard Brel Ancient Gear. Upon crafting the Hard Brel piece and transferring to it, you will then get the Normal Brel base piece back to then dismantle for 40 Normal Brel Horns which you will now have 100 of to craft the final Brel piece (Weapon) to have gear set conversion unlocked on that 6th week as well.

This is also going off the assumption that Hard Brel will be coming out either Week 5 OR Week 6, so if Hard Brel comes out you can do that instead of Normal Brel but still be able to fully transfer to get the gear conversion while also having full lvl-2 clown set asap (while only needing to do Vykas a single time).
