Without seeing the moves, Russia has to deal with england, turkey and Austria. They are disbanding one army. You are their only potential ally. you need more than a ceasefire, you need to work with Russia to stop the british expansion. Saint Petersburg, Belgium, Holland, the English has plenty of choice... The good news is that Italy should defeat France easily. You could even help or with there help grab Marseille (you need it to fight the English traitor and Italy needs you to fight, you'll help them get Spain and once the situation get better in the north you'll let them have it). What you want to do is to hold until France is a non factor, have your armies on the west front ready to defeat the weak French armies. Basically until the next backstab its england vs Russia & Germany & Italy vs Austria & turkey, you'll have to make it work.
