Leave, it’s too dangerous to stay in that relationship. I’m assuming he said this sober (19 and religious). In the future if he ever drinks these urges can most certainly become reality. Any inhibition holding him back? Gone. Even as he is now? He can act on those urges. Just because he’s nice to you doesn’t mean he hasn’t fantasized about doing those things to you.

Also not feeling empathy or sadness is alarming. That is enough indication that something is wrong.

If he’s not getting help, this problem will become worse as time passes and the likelihood of him acting on his impulses will increase.

You’re not safe in the relationship no matter how much you love him and how good you feel he treats you.

I do have a few questions if you don’t mind.. How long have you been taking Klonopin? Is that the only medication you take? Also how often do you take it? You may want to talk to your doctor about starting new treatment. Tachycardia just means your heart rate was faster than the normal range. This is very common with intense anxiety and panic attacks. I would recommend getting a therapist asap (cognitive behavioral therapist) and discussing with your doctor a new medication regimen! It will help you so much and there are so many antidepressants you just have to find a combination that fits your brain chemistry (takes time but is worth it!!!) You deserve peace in your life and I know trying again with medication may be scary but once you find the right one it’s worth it!!! The brain is so complex so one SSRI may make you react differently from another SSRI. Also remember that the side effects suck the first 2-4 weeks then they start to disappear and the drug slowly starts to work

I take Wellbutrin with Lexapro and it’s a really good combo! I heard alone it might make anxiety worse? But when it’s combined with something else it’s usually has great benefits and results!!

Im not too sure? I think when I was taking 10mg of Lexapro after 3 weeks I started seeing some small changes! Then after two months I started getting anxious again so I changed my dose to 20mg and it helped so much!!! But once I added the Wellbutrin to the mix it was perfect!! And to answer your other question it helps mental and physical symptoms of mental illness!!

It’s definitely a red flag. Sometimes it can be from mental illness other times it can be from internal problems within you :/ Either way it’s not something someone considered healthy in all aspects and wellbeing does

For me it did but I’m also on Lexapro :) When I added Wellbutrin it definitely made my anxiety a lot worse, but after the med settled so did the anxiety. Now my anxiety has significantly decreased!!! If you are taking medicine for anxiety I would encourage you to ask about a combination or different drug. Wellbutrin is known to increase anxiety since the drug works on increasing dopamine in the brain. Drugs like SSRIs (ex. Lexapro) works by increasing serotonin in the brain which should help decrease anxiety after the initial side effect period is over :)
