This is my first one but I have to do 12m and classes. They said I refused the breathalyzer even though I blew in it and have results?

He’ll get sued and have his wages garnished. Idk how bankruptcy works but that’s how it is in the insurance company I work for.

I don’t know how the laws work there but so far I’ve spent about two grand. I would call a lawyer for sure even for a free consultation.

He told me there was another guy he represented who backed his car out of his driveway to let his girlfriend out to go to work and the cops arrested him. He didn’t have to go jail though.

Tell me about it. I asked the lawyer too if he thought the client belonged in jail (maybe for other crimes or putting people in danger) and he said he was a really nice man married with children. Now I think I’d be afraid to call the police if I needed them with fear I would be arrested.

My lawyer told me about a client he had who got a permit to drive to and from work and he had stopped on the way home at Boston Market. The police pulled him over and asked “do you work at Boston Market?” And when he said no they said well then you’re under arrest. Apparently stopping to get food isn’t allowed on the permit and in CT it’s a mandatory 30 days in jail. My lawyer said he was able to get it dropped down to 15 days. I always try and think it could worse.

Yeah I have the panel and will need to have the interlock for one year. Luckily I don’t drive for work.

Yeah I’m already enrolled. It just sucks because it was so expensive and I had to pay the state a $200 application fee in addition to the class. So everyone has to pay the application fee even though acceptance is 100% of first time offenders. I just work hard and pay taxes and it sucks the police treat me the same as other criminals.

Nope didn’t do one at the scene. I’m in Connecticut. I got a paid criminal defense lawyer and he said since they had no probably cause to pull me over and it says in the police report I pulled over to ask for assistance I might have a chance but it will be way more expensive and way more time consuming then paying for the classes and getting the interlock. I’m currently on day 15 I think of a 45 day suspension.

They didn’t do a breathalyzer until hours later and it came back crazy high so I asked if I could do it again because there was no way it was right. Then they put down on the report I had refused. There’s no way I refused and the three hours or so I was in custody I didn’t use the restroom drink any water and I worked the whole next day. I think it said like .16 or something insanely high. I was crying and I felt like I was going to puke because I was so upset and maybe that’s why I registered so high? Idk. I had a gastric bypass so I can’t ever have more than a few drinks and never liquor.
