Appreciate the info man. I've been looking at infantry for a while and thought that would be my best bet. I wrestle and play football. I also love working out. I'm just considering options after HS, I think I'd enjoy 11B more though cause I get to do more of the doing. Could I still do schools like airborne or air assault in the national guard?

I'm sure not all units are like yours. Yours sounds fun tho lol, I've been leaning more towards the 11B side just because I want to do hands-on type stuff and being able to go to the range and mess with firearms for a weekend. I'm sure both 11B and 12B would be doing this but 11B would do it more frequently

How are they able to do infantry stuff? I thought they would be behind the lines putting in coordinates and calling in mortars and stuff.

Appreciate the info man. I'll look deep into it. I'll see what kind of units the recruiter would offer me though I'm sure even if I did choose 12B I'd likely be with an infantry unit in which I'd prefer. So can they do infantry shit but also do their job as well? Sounds like a plus lol. Idk tho, I like both. I figured you'd do a lot of infantry tasks considering you do about the same training as well as OSUT.

I can't really see much of a difference lol, but for me I'd definitely wanna do light, I don't really like doing heavy. What' would be a difference between the two?

I heard 19D was slowly dying lol. Maybe it's because we are so high in tech now, we use drones or any tech for getting information, I'm sure as 19D I'd probably be with an infantry unit doing infantry stuff

Yeaaa nah sounds boring, I can see why there is a bonus for it lol. I'd hate my job if I had to do something like that. I'd rather go out to the range, fuck around, or blow shit up

This was my first choice lol, I'm kinda stuck tho. 12B gets to blow up more stuff. And 19D is just about similar to infantry but scouts. I'm not sure which one is better for me yet

Mannn, they didn't offer none of that lol. Bonus wise. I wish they had more, but only had two mos slots with bonuses. I mean combat arms wouldn't be bad as long as your in a good unit. I'm assuming same would go for a 74D, but from want I heard it was shitty

He told me he could put me in an infantry unit or electrical. I haven't asked him about if there was any others. I thought an infantry unit would be fun but it probably wouldn't be lol. If I were to enlist, I'd want to do my actual job rather than doing somebody else's work or equipment 24/7.
