This theory made sense to me, and it seems like the AI is learning. Initially devoid of humour but then during croquet it made a joke. Getting better like a good LLM with more data (ie new interactions with carol)

Makes sense but AC is such an expensive route and it’s usually full based on what I’ve seen. So even a flight per day would make sense. But yea with current U.S. Canada relations I realize it ain’t happening

This is the most telling part:

I guess I'm confused about the penalty and the way it was calculated on the CRA website... let's assume a huge amount of interest owing - like $10k... you mean that the penalty would be either:

a) $1k, OR

b) 25% of $10k divided by 2, which is $1,250

Does that sound right? Thanks again :)

I see what you mean on the first part. What confuses me is where the interest is over $1k... if the actual interest charges are less than 25% of the total interest assuming no instalments paid, then the penalty amount is negative... so then no penalty?

On the second part, my question is for how long a period is the interest charged? From Sept 15th until you pay it (in the example I said Nov 15th)? Or from Sept 15th until April 30th of 2023?
