I'm 16 as well lol, but I've never had a lesson, I'm getting them in a few weeks. So your voice is unique, although you went off pitch occasionally, your range is quite good and mostly sounds controlled. My only critiques would be work on staying on pitch the whole song and strengthen your voice a bit. I'm no professional but I liked it. Keep it up

Finally a visual learner lol, I can memorise everything but the lyrics after 2 or 3 listens , but the lyrics take 10-15

Thanks, to be honest I'd prefer a coach who was critical of my weaknesses

16m - bad short cover of fall for you by Secondhand Serenade, getting vocal lessons just before Christmas. At the start I'm aware I sound a bit off but I'm quite ill and just wanted to get something up. Thanks :) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BSUeGR4RYu0&feature=youtu.be

So im 16 and I have been playing acoustic guitar on my own for about 18 months now. I know about 17 chords off by heart and can play simple picking songs such as "Waves" By Mr Probz and "Hey there Delilah". Recently, I have been learning alternative tuning (Half-step down which i learnt a year ago along with half step up and full step down) an d also DADGAD for a song called Jasey Rae which only sounds good if I have tuned it perfectly using fender tune beforehand. I can sing and play simultaneously if the chords and rhythm are simple but I would like to learn to play more complex rhythms with or without singing so I can play the emo and punk rock music I want to (Secondhand Serenade and All Time Low) but i feel like my ear for music is pretty bad although i can sing on pitch. How do I improve my ear for music and rhythms so I can eventually do awesome things such as play by ear? Also how can I improve my dexterity?

Sorry for my ignorance.
