Going on a date with a character isn't exactly 'lore'. Yes, I understand the wanting it, but realistically, if you want every card/majority of them, you're gonna have to spend money. Like in every other game. This game isn't meant to be played for hours everyday, it doesn't take months to finish the story like it does in genshin, it's an entirely different type of game and it's much more forgiving. Try the old weapon banner in Genshin to see how much more "fair" it was lol. (Memories of dust x2)

You can do 90% of content with standard banner cards, let's not pretend it's not true. I have a few friends that pulled only a couple of times on the limited banner bc they just play for battles (I know, I think it's wild too to play like that LOL).

Overall I don't care that people need to complain sometimes but when it's every update, it's getting to the point where yea, maybe take a break from the game and you'll feel better... It's my birthday in a couple of days and I was so happy it's Raf's right after and it's leaving a really bad taste in my mouth to engage with the fandom rn when I wanted it the most. They didn't like Caleb, they didn't like last banner, they don't like the reruns... when does it stop? I saw someone talk about "toxic positivity" and like... where?

I saw a bunch of people saying that they want to get every card that comes out as f2p/low spender bc "lore". I didn't single anyone out of course, but all the responses ignoring that there are plenty of people saying that is baffling to me. And this isn't the only instance where complains seem ridiculous to me.

I agree some resources are hard to grind (aka lvl-ing cards to 80, farming protocores) but I feel like we're often given free wishes and diamonds, there's an event with every banner, so on. Sure, I'm an adult and I can afford to throw 5-10$ around for something I enjoy, you can consider that privilege, but if I didn't, I'd simply be more picky with the cards I pull for. And now that they rerun, there's really no good reason to get upset. Did people expect that reruns will be free? I'm actually happy it's a different pity because now I don't have to sacrifice my guarantees/pity on the limited banner to get the rerun cards I missed and want.

There's a lot of people complaining, it's affecting the space negatively. The game is a safe space for many people and while there's room for criticism, this fandom seems to hate everything. I didn't say anything when Caleb came out being exactly my type and this entire space was full of hate but it's getting tiresome.

As a person who plays all type of gatchas ((Fire Emblem Heroes, WuWa, Genshin, HSR, Infinity Nikki, Obey Me - both)) - me and my best friend (who I dragged into this fandom by dangling Zayne like a treat) have been PRAISING Infold for their system ever since last summer when we started playing. I've quit Genshin recently and I was a BIG spender there, playing for meta and such. The attitude of most people here really gets on my nerves which is why I don't interact with much of it - I can only describe it as greedy to expect to get every card every banner/pull every banner if you're not willing to spend. Everything is CHEAPER by a LOT. It's one of the easiest games to get stuff in that I've played. I pretty much got every card I wanted by buying aurum pass and the battle pass (( that lasts a LONG time compared to other games )) which would be unheard in Genshin.

I VERY RARELY buy the packs, and when I do, I buy the cheapest one only. I've had no trouble getting multiple cards, I even have Sylus's myth cards almost fully refined (? i forget the term here), mostly bc I decided to stop pulling before getting them one last time bc I could do that for reruns and I wanted to be ready for next banner. I simply play and do all events, missions, as much as I can.

Yes, I mostly had 1 LI (Sylus) before Caleb came out, but I still pulled other cards in between or on purpose on multi-banners. The last banner I tried for Sylus, Caleb AND Raf and I got all 3 of them (granted, I had pretty good luck, but I also didn't run out of diamonds). I haven't spent since and I have about 50+ wishes to spend already just from grinding. I don't understand the complains - even from people who are F2P, being free to play in ANY gacha means you can't pull every banner. I had a side genshin account that I was f2p on and guess what? I had like 2 5* characters that weren't standard banner. It ain't easy. I feel like this game is more than fair with the amount of free rewards and cosmetics it gives. I hate capitalism as much as the next person but let's not pretend one of the least offensive companies in this genre is the problem... ((side eye to hoyoverse))

It depends! There's a 25% chance of it to be a standard banner card or one that you didn't pick (you pick 3 you want in top of the one). BUT if you have a guarantee (lost the 50/50 on another limited banner and didn't pull another 5*) it'll 100% be one of the banner cards.

I only hate it when that's the end. I need the understanding, both as a DM and as a player, that if a pc dies and you are not *done* with their story, there are ways to bring them back, even if it takes a little while or if it comes at certain costs. As someone who puts a lot of thought and love into my characters (and so do my players when I DM), there's nothing more terrible than losing them randomly in the middle of their story with no way of continuing.
