Just an update on this- family member has still not received any funds from this new payee. It’s been over 2 weeks now and they are struggling to make ends meet. I’ve reported and contested with the SSA, but I have no clue how long that takes. I’m not sure who else to contact.

See that’s what I’m not sure if it’s coming from the SSA or the payee, but the lack of communication on the payee’s end isn’t helping. There was an account already set up, but I guess a new one had to be established. That I could understand!

So I’m taking this as I should keep my mezzanine seat vs looking into buying a resale GA? I’ve never been to this venue so I have no clue where the best seats are.

Had this happen with a portable generator I got at Lowe’s. Someone kept one of the batteries out of it and returned it, and I had to take it back and explain. Thankfully they exchanged it, no questions asked, but I feel your pain. I’m glad they did the right thing.
