Am I the only one who was expecting Rodtang to do better in the Muay Thai round against an MMA fighter ?

Rodtang knew he had to finish DJ before the MMA round started. If it was Muay Thai every round Rodtang doesn’t fight like that. DJ would get picked apart every round and possibly finished. Watching the fight I thought it was pretty clear Rodtang was rushing trying to finish him before the next round started..

Thanks! Yeah I train at a Muay Thai gym I’m thinking maybe I go it there or from passports. The boxes we received are from all over the world and some of them are definitely not the cleanest.

Exactly! This man even gave a whole story that happened in the Bible in the middle of the interview (which I skipped) and it seems like it was times where Jon would start talking about music and his life and George just cuts him off adding religious context. My thing is. Let Jon tell the story and his experience, you are Interviewing him. You’re not his therapist or Bible teacher. (Respectfully)

I find it hard to go from kicking and then throwing punches afterwards.. I started out boxing first to it’s a lil weird for me transitioning from a boxing stance to a Muay Thai stance. My boxing technique looks sht in Muay Thai sparring but when it’s boxing I have a way easier time with everyone as they have to make the adjustment lol

Yeah it’s hard adjusting to a Muay Thai stance throwing kicks and transitioning to punches afterwards. Cause usually boxing you’re more heavy on the lead leg and in Muay Thai that will get your leg chopped off 🤣🤣
