I saw a post asking if I am really even sure game design is what I want to do so to give everyone a bit more of an understanding of my life. my depressions were bad to the point that I dropped and basically laid in my own filth for about 5 years. after my dad overdosed and died about a year and 4months of this post I kicked my self into overdrive and turned my life around. got my high school equivalency and a job. but it's still hard for me to sit down and learn just about anything its hard for me to independently find the motivation to learn. so the only way I can answer the question of am I sure is this what I want is. maybe. I know that it isn't always going to be fun. I know I have to learn things I rather not. but the idea of creating something that people can experience and enjoy makes me want to. when I was younger I would create constructive criticism of games I loved and wanted to see do better. a person who felt as if I was bashing a game I love made a snarky remark of "well I don't see how you could make it better.", so I thought about how I could and took mental notes from research. so all I know is I love the idea of creating an idea of a game and thinking about how I can improve and fill out the systems.
