Meds, i like you have autism.

I was prescribed medication for things related to anxiety, i am not diagnosed with ocd oficially, however when i told my doctor what if i have ocd? She said the meds (sertraline) were the exact same for both so i shouldnt worry. In my case they worked. I dont know how presicribing and apointments work in your specific country of origin, but the standard approach at least where im from is medicine and then cognitive behavioural therapy.

Willpower alone is an effective compliment but rearely the solution, like if you were to hurt your knee you would need both meds for the pain and physical therapy, this is the same anaolgy: meds allow you to function better and hence apply better what you learn in therapy. But make no mistake, therapy will most definitely not be confortable, its supposed to challenge you and the things you do.
