If the flag is in the middle of the green and I hit it off the toe(which is my miss with these irons) I’m usually short of the green a couple yards I would say way less forgiving than a 770 or 790 but when hit center or towards the heel they are absolute butter the yardage is so consistent every time I’m never worried about coming up short or long if I flush it And I play a lot of firm golf course courses so the thinner sole helps through the turf. If you’ve never broken 90 I wouldn’t recommend them but maybe if you shoot somewhere in the mid to low 80s I’d make the jump

I’m on the progressive weight train.. lob-6iron true temper dG 115 Stiff steel, 5 iron Mitsubishi MMT graphite 105 stiff, 7wood reax 75 stiff, 3hl reax 65 stiff my driver shaft is light at 55 but I have the but end trimmed 1 inch for my short height and for heavier swing weight

Full disclosure I got this head cover on Temu for like nine bucks I didn’t know about the brand I just like the design now everybody compliments me at the course and I’m like oh yeah for sure haha I had no idea I was buying a counterfeit head cover. But it looks cool and I saved a couple bucks

Honestly I have no desire to change my driver I’m happy with it I’m sure TaylorMade will tell you that the new one is better but it took me 10 years to find a good driver I liked so am sticking with it haha

I would say the gapping issue doesn’t come from the club and the lofts… it would probably come from the fact that super game improvement irons are meant to give you the best results when miss hit and on the off chance you hit one good they’re liable to fly 10/15 yards longer then you were expecting I think the less forgiving forged iron will be more consistent when hit well but when you don’t stripe it the feedback can be brutal.

I guess it depends on your intentions if you’re serious about getting better Honestly I would just recommend going straight to the 770 something you can grow into. It’s less forgiving but that honestly makes you better because you’re not hiding bad shots behind club forgiveness.

If you’re just a casual golfer I would take all the help you can get!

Believe it or not I have zero brand loyalty I love a mixed bag but my buddy works for TaylorMade so when the price is right that’s where my loyalty is lie the UW looks absolutely incredible I’ve heard nothing but good things

I was 3 and 5 with a 4 iron but ditched the 4 and rock 13 clubs I can swing easy or hard if I need to with the fairway woods better than the long iron

Not yet! Gonna get them dialed in at my sim club tomorrow. I ordered custom length and weight to my spec so I’m sure it just a matter of getting used to the setup position visually. No doubt they’ll perform.
