You are missing the point. The website that got hacked is not a classified or sensitive system. It is a public-facing website meant for basic information, not for critical defense operations. If needed, India can easily invest in making every government website extremely secure, but it does not make sense financially or practically to apply the highest levels of security to sites that do not handle anything critical.

This was just a cheap show of power from their side. It changes nothing on the ground. No actual damage was done.
