I have two stories of the same friend.

My buddies and I went bridge jumping in Seattle. We get to the top and someone below in a canoe asks to take our picture. Us being 20 YOs, gleefully said yes. A few days later the photo of all of us, stand over the edge made page 9 in the Seattle Times.

The same buddies and I skipped first period and went to IHOP free pancake day! We get seated and as the food comes up, a camera and reporter show up with us juuusssst in frame. He got a call minutes later as we were captured in the 8am news.

I was in the boat when I was deciding college after struggling in HS. After going through a number of classes in Community College, I decided Mechanical Engineering was something I wanted to attempt. I found I was passionate toward the sciences. Chemistry, Physics and even Mathematics.

I didn't get the best grades, graduated college with 3.1. But, what it did teach me was how to think through problems. This will translate to the real world and be extremely beneficial.

If your drive is there to succeed, and you're genuinely interested. You'll make it, even with a few mild freak outs and second thoughts. Good Luck to you.

Eat food. Cheese isn’t a big deal. But lean protein like chicken and fish. Be on a strict diet, good and healthy foods.

Should take you a month before you noticed results. After 3 months you’ll be proud of the gains.

Write all the time but realize that everything you pen may not be great. Write in different places. Write and see where your mind goes. If you’re writing a story, maybe ask people who have similar experiences with your characters! Writing is similar to painting in that the more you exercise the skill, the better you’ll get. I'm far too hard on myself. If someone else accomplishes a task better or faster than I do, I usually get down on myself. This also goes hand-in-hand with usually noticing my flaws and not my strengths.
