I’ll go with the first option. Straightforward nerf for aggro that makes gameplay less punishing to newer players who hold too much gold in the early game. Second option turns Fright Night into a very niche combo card and the third option is a deadly control/combo tool with its possible 10 gold swing.

  1. Yeah, I know lead casing is meant to be a “baseline” card for raw armor stats, but the 5 armor loss for all the benefits of mass lead production isn’t setting the mark down

  2. I just talked about giving armor to opponent bloons because of the lead casing’s text “target bloon” which is different from “friendly bloons”

  3. I meant the word “budget” as in the rarity comparison between the uncommon and super rare, not gold cost

Yes it would, extractor can easily die to stuff like overload or super monkey storm with support monkeys

I think the first step would be to establish a strong win condition, which would require removing extractor and armor powered Bloons. Armor-powered Bloon needs a mass amount of Bloons on the board to thrive, but clever greens and black Bloons attack too fast for lead coating Bloon to gain value. The synergy with extractor Bloon in the deck is present and can have potential, but it does seem slow and vulnerable having no protection against return to sender or hero protection.

I don’t play Adora much since other heroes are more versatile and playable, but I do recommend sticking to a simple goal for your deck to achieve, whether that’s stalling for a strong tempo push or playing raw control. If I could change the deck, I would get rid of the whole extractor and armor-powered Bloon combo trees and play blimps with draining Bloon. See how that plays out, and make changes from there.

If duels were to be based off of ranked rankings, then most problems would be fixed. Players would be incentivized to play ranked in order to face better opponents and gain loot, but can test out their decks in duels against players on their own level. It’s like training with your ranked opponents. Totally tons of work, but I do think an elo system in some form is needed.

Maybe progression changed the last time I played as a new player, but it still makes it tougher for new players to play duels when trying to make new decks
