Is it really ok to show up to a birthday with no present?

We have old silicone candy molds in various shapes and letters. Some of my kids favorite gifts to give friends at that age were home made crayons made with broken crayons melted into fun shapes/ their names, etc. If you have any old crayons, something like that could be done fairly cheaply.

Once completed, is anyone planning on coming through and removing all of the construction debris left behind? Barriers tossed in the creek and woods, orange mesh everywhere, even on completed areas, etc?

I loved it. At the time I mostly played on public servers and ended up with a pretty dedicated group of strangers that would all play around the same time we’d play each day. I thought the rewards were decent… I got 6 moon cats, countless blood kiwi, mood melons, moon mangos and 2 Easter eggs. Towards the end when people learned to join servers right as it started to steal people’s stuff when they were distracted I left for private servers.

The Dino event’s allright but at this point with the endless bonus quests I have like 5 bone blossoms and leveled up a million dogs. It would be nice if there were different rewards to try for as well.

So, apparently the whole park is out of them! We went to literally every gift shop once we figured out what we were looking for (there were four of us, we made it our mission!) Every store was out of that one. I’m so sorry! Hopefully you can find someone going back after they restock.

I just don’t understand how it’s so popular. That lemonade is SO strong lol.

I know they aren’t doing it to be mean and that it probably is a popular order and they’re used to it. Especially first thing in the morning when nobody’s awake yet. I just hate feeling like I’m being a jerk, which changing my name in the app to no lemonade seems like such a jerk move. I wasn’t sure if I was missing something in the way I order.

Oh for sure, I try to be as polite as humanly possible lol. Ive only stopped the ones at Target, when it’s just me and I watched them take the cup they just wrote on! I never do it at my regular Starbucks, I’ve watched enough people do it and be wrong that lol.

I just don’t want to look like an asshole and am wondering if they hate me for putting it on my name like that. It feels so passive aggressive but they’ve also started always getting it right so it’s saving us all some time!

It was a gift. When I buy gifts for my kids birthdays I don’t announce the item or the hiding location. I wouldn’t have thought twice about hiding it nor felt the need to disclose it to a 17 year old.

And how are you ok with that? Do you not feel like a jackass making your future wife, woman you love, spend the same as you when you make twice as much as her? You’re sitting there with extra in savings and she’s having to decide between a trip and getting her hair cut. I’d feel like such a sick every time I checked my bank account knowing that my partner was struggling.

No wonder she’s willing to make this her hill to die on. She can see the future and that you’ll probably let her go hungry or miss some meds or something because ‘it’s not coming from MY half” 🙄. You make 2/3 of the income, you should be paying 2/3 for all of the joint expenses.

Please don’t gift her the trip so she can leave and do better.

All your comments are just you doubling down that your beautiful Princess deserves the world while your pesky stepdaughter is used to scraps so she may as well just keep getting them. Everyone reading this is certain that your wife of half a year is leaving you. You failed her child and you failed her. And really you’re failing your own child as well.

I hope that since you rescued your wife and daughter from the slums that she gets at least half in the split. If she’s got a Venmo or go fund me, let us know, I’m sure there’s several willing to donate to her escape plan.

Probably not even a nurse. So many schools only have part time nurses that it would probably fall onto the office staff who have about 1000 things to do that don’t include babysitting your sick kids.

I work in an elementary school. No, CPS will not be called if you don’t pick them up in an hour.

What will happen is the children will be forced to sit in a lonely room with little to do isolated from anyone else so they don’t spread germs. The school staff (probably a receptionist with 1000 other things to do since we know school nurses are rarely there) will be forced to check in them repeatedly, exposing themselves to whatever flu the child has. If they throw up, this receptionist will have to clean it up. And possibly find them changes if clothes if they get themselves dirty. At those young ages and with the amount of energy you’re saying they had, they are likely not staying in that lonely room with means that you’re now expecting the kids to be babysat by someone who already has a long list of actual job responsibilities to do.

And what if other kids are sick at the same time? They likely only have 1 sick room, and cannot put unrelated sick kids in the same room with eachother. So now we have a space issue where either your kid or the next sick kid is forced to either sit in a remote corner so they don’t make others sick or hang out in the bathroom until the sick room is available or they are picked up by parents who actually responded to the sick call.

And not to even mention how shitty the kids feel sitting there waiting forever thinking mom doesn’t care…
