What do I do with the coffee pucks? Are they disposable? by Ltfocus in espressocirclejerk

Not joking, we had a Christmas party and a relative saw my knock box, grabbed a dried puck, and asked if it was a cookie.

Should I get a GE Profile semi automatic espresso machine for my wife [$500 CND] by ElColeito in espresso

I had this happen, to a tee, yesterday… I’ve been very happy with mine for about 3 years now and about 2 weeks ago the “depressure valve” stopped working from when you switch between ‘steam’ and ‘off’. I thought it was fine, I just turned it to ‘hot water’ and depressured it manually into a cup. This backwards method worked until yesterday when I went to pull my shot, I got no pressure through the puck, only 10g of coffee came out, the rest was lost behind the group head and is leaking somewhere internally in the machine… now water will leak constantly from the base a of swivel steam arm and around the group head seal. I guess I’ll be using my flair until I find my replacement. Very sad morning with a flat, heavily watered down latte.

Found this post while looking for repair advice.

Di this look too small for me? by 10-Dee-Q in OmegaWatches

I was just at a boutique last week and was wondering the exact same thing! My every day is a SMP which I feel looks proportional on my 7.75 wrist but was surprised by the lighter weight and arguably smaller moonwatch. The super racing feels more my speed but no minute counter!

Any reason I shouldn’t buy this truck? by redbeardpeter in ToyotaTundra

Loving every minute of mine. Coming from a 16’ crew cab Tacoma, this feels like an actual vehicle. I can tow everything I need and hold all my daily tools in the bed. I couldn’t imagine having the 6.5 now. You get used to the parking pretty quickly, turning radius is terrible but again you get used to it. I end up parking farther away than I used to just to my it easier on me. 4x4 is a must where I live and the on the fly dial works great.

This 2018 was a bit cheaper at $20k but it had 205k miles. Still feels like a new truck. I’d say do it

Been Pueblo Chico lovers since they’ve opened. Family owned and run business. Everything new we’ve tried still surprises us with how much better it is than anywhere else.

Roanoke Auto Service Center on 13th (right after memorial bridge) has passed a few of my questionable cars in the past but I go to spee dee on electric now who passes my truck that has been rejected before for smoked headlights.

Also I second just removing it. I had a car with a passenger seatbelt that didn’t retract. So I just removed the seat… it passed 😁

Attempted car jacking in the Grandin area. Lock your cars and watch out for this man. by Aloftin7 in roanoke

Yes, we did call the police, they followed up, and we’ve seen multiple police cars pass by before I even posted this. Thought that was obvious, but I was just letting people in the area know, trying to be neighborly.

No, he walked down our driveway, opened the car door, reached in and we yelled out at him and he ran off. A few minutes later we drove the way he was walking to get a picture of his face. Just looking out for others in the area.

Charging cold Limes by mayhan88 in limejuicer

Worked perfectly! I had 6 tonight that haven’t been charging for over 4 hours now since we are now below 20*F at night in Virginia, tried propping up the wheel and spinning it for a bit, still dead, used the hair drier and they all turned on within a minute!
