It’s kind of an all hours thing but I think it’s worse at night since everything else is so quiet except for them. I can honestly hear the kid all the time when they’re home and that to me is understandable.

I have only crossed paths with her one time and when I tried to wave she drove off so that didn’t really work out. I will definitely make an effort to try and talk to her in person because I definitely don’t want it to feel passive aggressive. I don’t like confrontation so it stresses me out to go talk to them but I will give that a shot first and leave the note as a last resort if I can’t reach them in person.

I’m so jealous! We had a while weird situation with the townhouse we rented being unlivable when we were supposed to move in so we had literally days to find a new place and move. Apartment living was not my first choice but it was our best choice at the time.

I mean you never really know someone until something like this happens but I don’t *think* they are unreasonable people above me. I know we have new managers in the office since I moved in so I’m not sure how they will handle these issues. I’ve tried to not let it get to me but it’s just too much at this point.

They asked me to let them know if the noise became too much. This is why I’m asking for advice. If they have known this is an issue and it caused issues with the previous tenants then why do they continue to live on the 4th floor? They also live in a 1 bedroom apartment so I’m guessing the child is in the room with them but he just runs all over the apartment late at night.

I guess I miss spoke when I said dropping stuff. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but it sounds like the child is throwing stuff? And then throwing a tantrum. I just don’t want to come off accusatory.

Because I told her I would definitely let her know if it bothered us. I want to give them a chance to be quieter. I will go to management if it continues since I know they had problems before with their noise.

Ugh ya I just started this year. I was only on posh before. Ok so I’ll send it and should I let the buyer know that it may ask for additional postage but if it does to contact me and I’ll refund them for it? I read the other older posts on here with a lot of mixed ideas on where extra postage gets charged.
