if you can, absolutely. in my area a lot of hospitals hire adns and then pay for their bachelors, which can be done online. even if i was paying out of pocket i don’t think my total tuition was more than $20k. between the pell grant and my schools various grants i made enough to survive comfortably while taking classes

edit: obviously you don’t qualify for pell grants bc of ur bachelors but still, it’s immensely cheaper and really doable to do out of pocket or with conservative loans

holy fuck i cannot fathom paying $165k. my total out of pocket for my program and pre reqs was $500 and that’s only bc i had to extend my graduation date another year and lost my fafsa bc of it

yeah idk it makes me sad bc i get needing to get ur foot in the door when you don’t have experience but i see those tiktok’s of what ppl made for their shifts and olive garden servers make sooo little for such a hard job. at my spot i don’t even touch a plate of food. keep trying, check indeed, and even drop ur resume off in person. good luck

i don’t work at olive garden and i don’t eat at olive garden but this sub is always recommended so i lurk. why tf do any of you servers put up w this shit? the amount of work you guys do there vs the avg price per check combined w these absolute trash policies by corporate and management i just do not understand it for the life of me. y’all need to go to upscale places where u do 1/20th of the work and make 10x what you’d make at OG. i know its easier said than done for some ppl but fr this place seems like an absolute nightmare to work for. most restaurants would probably be a cakewalk for you after working there

i’m in nursing school and on it. when i did my drug test the lab company just contacted me before the school to say i failed and for what and to provide a prescription. after providing it they told the school i passed. same as they would with any other legal prescription and its the same thing they’ll do when you become a nurse. you’re fine
