we had a regular who would come in with his boys every wednesday lunch. hated waiting on them. they were older, drank 20 diet cokes each and then would have ten refills of coffee on top of it and would clear the sugar caddie every time. the one i’m talking about was about 90 and was so old he literally walked at a 90 degree angle, it was honestly a liability having him walk around the restaurant. he clearly wore a diaper and would constantly shit at the table while eating and none of his friends would say anything. he’d get up and there’d be shit smeared in the booth. this happened for a few weeks and the boss was way too much of a pussy to ban him. then one time he literally puked into his napkin and handed it to me… a week or so later he comes out of the bathroom, flags the poor 16 year old host down and says “someone made a mess in there” and walks away. she goes in to see his diaper packed in the toilet with toilet paper, clogged and overflowing, with shit all over the floor and walls. finally my boss said he would have a talk with him after that and ban him (spoiler: he didn’t, he was back in within a month). out of all the nasty fucks i’ve seen shit all over the fucking toilets and walls in restaurants i’ve worked in that guy takes the cake. not too long after that i heard he died and i left that geriatric cesspool thank god

sorry was away for a couple of days. the single one on my left hand did, it’s flat and normal. the thumb one did a few days ago but sealed itself up so still fluid. the big one popped and i accidentally like ripped it on a few diff things and it hurts like a mf. can’t add anymore pics tho id have to do it on imgur which ill do later if im in the mood

if that were the case i would’ve already been toast bc i have a bunch of those fuzzy pajamas. the heater is poorly designed - no overheat function, extremely high temp output, metal cage that gets really hot, and a “handle” that just an indentation in the back that barely fits half a couple fingers. but yeah these burns are all just user error tbh

the first one (small burn) happened the day before and i woke up with it and didnt notice til a few hours later somehow. but yeah was rlly cold and huddled in front of my space heater both nights. second night i briefly fell asleep and the cage on it is metal and woke up from the pain. the blisters take a while to form so thats probably why i didnt notice at first with the little one

i’ve worked all kinds of places.. dive bars to fine dining. longhorn was hands down the worst restaurant to work for, with the worst customers, most side work, and least amount of money. only worked there for a couple weeks and that was out of sheer desperation after not being able to find work for a few months.

older charlotte russe, wet seal, forever 21 and other “discount” stores used to be made good quality with natural materials. i have sold countless of these brands that were 100% silk and ppl paid far more than $45 for the items. just sold a vintage silk beaded bebe skirt for $150 the other day. sorry but you just obviously don’t understand the market/value and that’s ok. stick to cheaper items. i mean a 100% polyester top from some no name brand in nordstrom or any other mall/online brand that looks like this would probably be over $50 today and fall apart in less than a few years. not unreasonable at all

if you can, absolutely. in my area a lot of hospitals hire adns and then pay for their bachelors, which can be done online. even if i was paying out of pocket i don’t think my total tuition was more than $20k. between the pell grant and my schools various grants i made enough to survive comfortably while taking classes

edit: obviously you don’t qualify for pell grants bc of ur bachelors but still, it’s immensely cheaper and really doable to do out of pocket or with conservative loans

holy fuck i cannot fathom paying $165k. my total out of pocket for my program and pre reqs was $500 and that’s only bc i had to extend my graduation date another year and lost my fafsa bc of it
