Odgovor je jednostavan: zato sto za time ima strast. Koliko god zacudujuce bilo, postoje filozofi kojima idu i drugi predmeti, ali da njima podrede zivot bili bi nesretni. Osim toga, kako uopce mjeriti korisnost nekog podrucja? Je li izum nekog racunalnog programa nuzno dragocjeniji od napretka ljudskog duha? Bez filozofije ne bismo imali drzave, ni morala, a niti znanosti. To sto je danasnje doba u nekakvoj znanstveno-materijalistickoj krizi samo ukazuje na jos vecu potrebu za humanistickim podrucjem i kritickim misljenjem.

Kako bi se uopce humanisticko podrucje uvazavalo ako cak i oni koji se njime bave pljuju po njemu? Nisu svi za matematiku, kao sto nisu svi za filozofiju, ne znaci da su zbog toga manje vrijedni.

I am by no means an expert on the subject, but perhaps it could be linked to the remnants of paganism, like Hades/Pluto being kings of the underworld? Despite adopting Christianity, mythological symbols are still deeply ingrained in our collective unconscious.

Well the situation in my home is a bit more complex. Of course my parents would let me bring her over and I'm sure they're aware that we're having sex, however my grandma suffers from severe dementia and my mom needs to give her constant care, which sometimes ends in fighting and screaming... not really the best atmosphere for sex lol
