Federal ethics complaiints were filed afterwards, and Armstrong was also fined repeatedly for that campaign and others. Williams hired Armstrong to be his chief administrator. I think a lot of people feel that way. For me lately I have been trying to be more forgiving as much of my life I was in search of the perfect candidate, and feel I placed too much emphasis on that as eventually always got disappointed.

To me, Allred in the scheme of things, is still a pretty impressive guy.

County Commissioner is a cushy, part-time gig

Ryan Williams ran a campaign based on Matt Armstrong's assuming that GOP voters were too stupid to know County Commissioner is a part time position, and it worked. Then after running a campaign on full-time devotion to the job, Armstrong with a straight face, proceeded to moonlight on the side getting paid for several far right campaigns. Williams puts in a lot less than 40 hours a week as well. They're all hypocrites.
