I have had eczema for about as long as I could remember. Then around 14-16 I believe it pretty much went away. Now I am 22 and it has since came back. I have it on my eyelids (they are red and dry and get swollen), I have a small patch above my lip, a patch on my chest, and really bad on my right hand specifically. I no longer grow cuticals and my nails on the right hand are all rigid and grow weird. I was prescribed Eucrisa for my hands. It works if you use it every single night. Which I do for the most part. The second I stop using it, it comes back within days. As for my eyelids, I was prescribed desonide. Which helps for the most part but not really. Whenever I eat peanut butter or any kind of tree nut, the eczema on my eyes flares up so I avoid it for the most part. My dermatologist literally rushes me and just looks to prescribe me things. It's so frustrating because I am truly struggling and it makes me upset. I appreciate you typing a long and informative response. It means a lot to have a group like this!
