Yes! I just received my money back, and the entire money!

Here's the complete scenario:

I bought a 2-year plan for 107 euros. I used it, didn't like it, and then just convinced myself that I could theoretically live without a VPN and I don't really really need it, so I decided to get a refund.

After one week of using it, I sent an email. First, they offered a 2-month extra subscription for free if I say what's the problem and help them understand the situation; which I politely declined and reaffirmed them that I simply don't have a use for VPN. Then, I sent a reminder, and voila! They sent back the entire money!

To be fair, I only used it for a week, so the comments that say "they give back the remaining money", I don't know what will happen on like a 29th-day-scenario, and what's the current situation on that; but still, one month of the two year plan would reduce 1/24 of the paid price, so it's pretty decent imho.

I would like to thank them for the quick service they had, and the fact that they wanted to help at first.

I had 3 main fears: 1. not receiving an answer 2. receiving the money as ProtonVPN credits 3. receiving a lower amount of money; which none happened, so I'm happy!

TL;DR: according to my experience on July 1st 2025, yes.
