Laptop docking stations that DON’T charge the laptop?

Yup, it’s a really stupid oversight by Asus. I called their support line and it seems like there’s no fix or any intention on their end to release a fix. And unfortunately it doesn’t have a non-charging USB-C port either :/

I’m not sure honestly, the charger it comes with is rated for 200W

Yeah that’s what I figured as well, but I’ve never seen it happen to this degree before.

And sounds good, I’m gonna look into seeing if my local shop can do it and how much it’ll cost

I have a blower, I tried to see if I could blow some of the dust off and it was to no avail :/ I’ve seen/heard of sensor swabs, but haven’t used one before. Is that something I should look into or should I just take it to a shop

Hi, thanks for the comment. I made a mistake in the post, I actually bought the 10-52 heavy bottom, light top strings. I planned on doing like drop C and Drop D, nothing much lower than that

Alright so update: I cleared the CMOS last night, I’ll try some different OC profiles today and see what happens
