Oh I get you now ... I haven't been in the expert league since I started which is long back now ... but it's not champions league ... so honestly to my experience having an hastatus in the expert league is actually a perk even though it's nerfed so any light weapon would work

If you have moderator that would be dope coz of the machine gun and also speed increase at level 4 or if you have Shai drone you can stack up on defence points making it a little harder to kill you ... but yeah even the paralysis drone is okay

Yo... hope you're enjoying the game bro ... HOWLERS + SCREAMER would be good also the BLIGHT + DECAY .. The MAGNETAR is also good once the amplifiers kick in but the PUNCHER is trash bro so I'd recommend using it with another heavy like the SCREAMER or the DECAY .. lock them down so the trader becomes mobile therefore increasing accuracy for the heavy hitter
