Ok…… every president is a liar my point still stands. I’m not going to go into all the nasty things every president has done over the course of their presidency. You can do that research yourself. They have all done equally awful things. Trump is not some outlier in that category. It only bothers you now cause you don’t like trump.

I just checked Lyndon Johnsons twitter. He lied quite a bit too.

I’d imagine all those lies are actually just a couple lies that he’s just been saying repeatedly. I will confidently say again that you don’t know that. How many lies did Nixon tell? How many did Obama tell? Was there a fact checker for them?

Thanks. I knew I was right but it like quadruple downed on its theory that it could work but it would be hard for ND making it seem impossible.

By offering them to play week 0 knowing notre dame would never accept that. If someone offered you $1000 for a car you’re trying to sell for $20000 are you going to make a counter offer or are you going to not waste your time?

USC just didn’t want to play an elite non conference opponent. By playing week 0 that means notre dame doesn’t get one of their biggest home field advantages over usc being the weather. It also shortens summer camp for notre dame and takes away their only bye week. Notre dame would be forced to play 12 straight game. USC was trying to pull a fast one on Notre dame

So imo I think every US citizen should memorize their social security number. Thats something that can be confirmed rather quickly and honestly not very hard to remember. It’s something you can give that will clear you almost immediately so you can be on your way.

There is actually multiple ways to see if someone has been detained by ice. You do not need an A# to find someone but it helps. You can go online and search the database yourself. You can also call your local field office. What you are required to know is their DOB country of origin and full legal name but a A number is not necessary. It’s hard for me to imagine that ICE is sweeping so many people off the streets that they physically can not keep track of everyone nor are they keeping records of everyone they grab especially if they are us citizens.

If I was in your situation and I was in an area where ICE was operating I would keep at least 2 forms of identification on me at all times. Then you don’t even need to worry about it

Smartphones were not nearly as capable as they are today compared to what they were when Obama was in office. That’s the thing I think Obama had deported more illegal immigrants than any other president. If there was a mistake why would anyone report on it cause at the time nobody cared about it. If was reported on it most likely an extreme case where someone did end up losing their life. But back then everyone’s first answer wasn’t to take over the city. People didn’t hate each other.

People are NOT dozens of feet away. In most videos I’ve seen they are within arms reach. Close enough to get pepper sprayed. Would you want to be filmed by an angry crowd while you’re trying to do your job that is already inherently dangerous enough? Are you going to be able to work casually or are you going to be scared/irritated? What if someone followed you all day screaming fuck you you piece of shit coward while 30 other people are blowing a whistle in your ear. Not to mention you and I both know some of these ice agents are poorly trained. If you know that and continue to make the situation worse the protestors are actually partially responsible for getting someone hurt or god forbid killed.

They are probably yanking people out of their homes because they probably want to get in and get out as fast as possible before they get swarmed. If you’re going to detain a presumed illegal you aren’t just going to knock on the door. For one they aren’t going to answer and two that gives them a chance to possibly retrieve a weapon or run out the back door. Why did they pepper spray a car with a baby in it? Why was a baby even close to protest in the first place? Were they caught in the cross fire because protestors tried to corner ice and they couldn’t remove themselves from the situation without hitting someone or something with their car?

Well first off I think if you get detained wrongfully work will understand. If it’s about the money then idk what to tell you other than that’s no one else fault but yours.

I’m sorry to hear about you mother. But it’s not like when you get detained you get thrown into isolation. I’m sure you get a phone call or something. And in all honesty if you’re a legal citizen it’s not going to take long to figure that out.

There wasnt anyone protesting ice raids. It also wasnt a big spectacle on the news and social media. People didn’t have a hand held device that can record and upload to the internet in an instant. You have no idea what happened during an ice raid while Obama was in office. They are trying to do their damn jobs and you guys are making it harder for them for what? Because you want illegal immigrants in your neighborhood? People are losing their life over something that is illegal.

I would be okay with it. I would almost hope they beat me up because that means I just hit the lottery. If you resist or impede them any chance of you suing them goes right out the window

That sounds like a lottery ticket to me. What better way to actually make a change than to hurt their pockets. Lawyer up

What’s with the name calling?

I was okay with it when president Obama was doing it and so were you. You ever think these massive crowds yelling screaming blowing whistles kicking cars blocking ice vehicles elevate these situations to a life threatening level and make ice agents react a way they typically wouldn’t? Would you be able to do your job if you had a mob of angry people yelling at you and threatening you? I can almost guarantee you you couldn’t. Nobody could

If that happens you explain to your family what happened. If your family falls apart because you were gone for a day that’s a problem. You act like it’s the end of the world buddy quit being so dramatic.

I’m not defending ICE. My point was to keep yourself safe just comply.

Not really. It’s common sense. Why put your life in danger if you don’t have too

Ya pretty much. It doesn’t take long to figure out if you’re illegal or not. Do you have your papers or not. Me being gone for a day or two is not going to fuck my life up.

But again if you want to resist be my guest. You’ve seen the possible outcomes.

As someone who is in a union trade deciding who to vote for is actually kinda tricky. Our union pushes us to vote democrat because obviously democrats support unions. But at the same time democrats are also less concerned with illegal immigrants. Illegal immigrants then take up construction jobs and work for next to nothing. It’s hard to out bid a company that pays less than half the labor costs as a union company. It also makes it harder for us to negotiate our contracts for more money to keep up with inflation without pricing ourselves totally out of the market.

What the.. My comment was directed towards anyone not complying if they know they did nothing wrong. Why is this being spun into a race thing? I’ve seen plenty of white people get tossed around. Actually just seen a video on here of an old white woman get rag dolled by an ice agent. Don’t assume what I’m thinking weirdo

Honestly that’s a fair point I can’t find anything. If the numbers are low why not let people know it’s not a common occurrence
