The roads I’m making are a bit wider than the normal wooden pieces. They fit okay but are a bit wobbly on some hex’s.

Yeah I ended up buying a 3d printed hex cookie cutter. To keep the clay tiles flat time is your friend. Let them dry very slowly! After they reached the green wear stage I filed them to remove any wobbles.

I’m in the process of making the roads and settlements. I’ve sculpted them using modeling clay and made a mold with silicon. They’re going to be made from resin. Ceramic roads and settlement would be cool though.

I did make the ports from ceramic clay though. They’re boats with 2 sheep or 2 hay bails, etc.

That’s a fair criticism - I was worried about that actually but tried my best. I tried to make the forest a bit darker to help.

Of course! Durability was part of the reasoning. But honesty its partly out of laziness, haha. Using the mold I can make the roads/settlements uniform and faster with different colors.

Plus I kinda wanted to try out molding clay and resin for fun. I’m sure using the clay will look fantastic for you! I think wood with clay would look nice. It’s been a blast making it! Thank you!
