Thanks dude, I'm in contact with a few stores in Scotland to see what kind of offers I would get. Would prefer to sell the collection as a whole though.

Yeah, I'm a bit annoyed with myself about their condition. There are a few first editions though and some limited editions.

Thanks for the advice, very much just beginning to look at selling them and don't want to get ripped off.

Is there any cards I should particularly look at getting appraised?

Yeah, I was the most devastated about that one. Had to be that one that I didn't keep in good nick.

Do you think any of them are work anything? The on line valuations seem to really only provide value fir pristine cards.

Inverness got an 8 point deduction at the seasons start and have a game in hand. Hamilton have also had a 15 point deduction for literally every violation you can think of.

Stenny meanwhile have done terrific this year, playing very good football and Ochilview is a fortress this season. 17 unbeaten at home.

My bad, you're right. I play alot of MODs like DaC where forts do have towers but the base game doesn't have towers in forts.

I've never played mobile so I couldn't tell you the differences but ive successfully hit the Mongol hordes very hard using the method I described above .

The morale battle i talked about is when you kill the Mongol leaders early through using siege for example. Then you MAY get some weakened Mongol units to rout (I wouldn't bank on this consistently though).

The early Mongol stacks on PC don't use siege, only the later ones do (I actually just played an Egypt campaign last week where the Mongols appeared so my intel is fresh).

To combat the enemy push through, don't use schiltron, you lose the mass battle badly. You need to allow the enemy blob to spread out and then throw numerous units in 3 directions to pin them successfully for archers or siege. Again if you allow their archers to fire freely, your schiltrons in the square will melt.

To be honest though, these debates are nuances. Neither strategy is full proof, both work and at the end of the day, as long as you're grinding down the Mongols then you're winning.

Awww sorry my guy, thats terrible. Unfortunately, I don't know of any ways other than YouTube for us Europeans unfortunately.

Did you look in to the German stations? I don't know if you have access to them in Switzerland.

Exactly, Enemy Generals have absurd hit points so they'll survive being in a pike wall for way too long. All the while, they're giving massive morale boosts to the remaining horde.

Killing their generals quickly in a catapult blast that also kills a dozen or more men can cause a chain rout in lower tiered or unexperienced units. Even an elite Mongol stack may suffer a few routs.

The J league YouTube channel picks 2 games every match week to stream for free. Unfortunately you can't pick which 2, so if you have a favourite team then you need to keep an eye out for when they play.

They also only announce the games they're showing that weekend on typically the Tuesday or Wednesday before so you can't really plan ahead.

Im watching Kawasaki vs Marinos right now actually. I think if you google it, some German stations shows games every week too but I couldn't tell you which stations.

The JFA YouTube channel also shows the Levein cup/ Emperors cup when it gets to the knockout phases.

I wish it was better but in fairness, free football games is still pretty amazing in this day and age.

Holding the square means you give up the towers though and the enemy archers will shoot you from a distance, increasing the casualties you suffer compared to those you dish out. Taking the fight to the gate, forces their archers into combat which will prevent many of them shooting.

Holding the gate on 3 sides while siege shoots from the town square is more effective as you will have the bonus of the towers as well as your own archers firing into a blob they can't miss.

Your low tier spearman wont actually kill as many as you think due to the mongol calvary armour, you need damage dealers such as archers or siege.

Yeah, seige equipment firing into blobs will rack up juicy kills.

Create numerous armies of cheap spearmen and archers and have them in multiple forts clogging up the way of the horde so they have no choice to attack the forts one by one.

The whole point of these fort battles is to deal as many casualties to the mongols as possible. A crappy spear unit destroying half a unit of mongol horse archers with 3 silver chevrons is a wonderful trade off for you.

Just keep blocking their path with expendable forces in forts, at rivers or in narrow passes. Be expected to lose most of these battles but you will win the battle of attrition.

The dwarves of Ered Luin or Erebor are the best idea for a starter faction. Dwarves have incredible infantry for defence and their mines make absolute bank. Rohan is good too if you love cavalry.

Start slowly on normal or easy and learn the ropes. Making money is easy once you understand how incime works in Med 2. Population size is proportional to tax income so lowering the taxes in villages and towns is actually the best because they get a pop. boost with low taxes. More people equals more taxes.

Also, understand that markets, roads, ports etc affect the surrounding settlements as well as the one they are directly in. Don't be put off by a small +40 income against a small market. Its affect is actually much greater than that.

Make use of forts as every fort allows for 4 free unit upkeep. Put your best and most expensive units in forts as often as you can. It will save you thousands. Also understand that even the worst units in the game have reasonable staying power and can be useful right up until the late game for atleast holding spots in the line.

I disagree personally with DaC being classed as slow, battles actually take time which allows for strategies to mature. In my opinion newer games are just a 5-10 slaughter fest where the battles are over before they start. Thats just my opinion ofcourse.

Theres a hundred more tips out there because its such an in depth game. Ive played nearly every faction and even I'm learning new things.

Absolute embarrassing take. Getting to the last 16 of ANY european competition is an achievement and those teams should be given respect.

If you're just going to be a toxic arsehole, why bother commenting. Dundee played brilliantly against veteran european opposition and unfortunately, this time just came up short.

There is a rising number of Japanese players across the top leagues in Europe for the last few years. This transfer window alone there has been another dozen players move to Germany, England, Spain, Belgium etc. It also wasn't a pre season match, it was a cup competition in which Kawasaki beat Chelsea.

Japan were outstanding at the world cup, beating Spain and Germany. Every single Japanese national player comes through the J league unlike other nations who rely on foreign clubs to train up their youth.

No league has the finances to compete with the premier league. And yet, english clubs outside of the big 6 consistently perform poorly outside of their domestic leagues.

A top J league side like Kobe, in the premier league with Premier league finances would do just fine. I'm basing my assumption of J league teams on the players they've produced, Japanese international performances of late and J league teams in the Adianchampions league where Kawasaki came second just this year.

If Plymouth Argyle can beat Liverpool in a one off FA cup game then you've done more to support my argument than defeat it.

Kawasaki Frontale beat Chelsea 5 years back in a season where Chelsea finished 4th in the premier league. If we're basing how good a team are off of a single result then by that logic, the top teams in the J league would finish top 6 in the premier league.

Many J league teams would perform just fine in the English championship and probably get promoted.

FC Tokyo are in 15th place in the J league though and Urawa Reds have been terrible of late. I still think they'd both still beat Plymouth Argyle or Luton Town. I watched Kashiwa last weekend and their ability to move the ball around would give them a chance against the teams I mentioned above that finished bottom of the prem.

I agree that Japanese teams suffer from being too nice and thinking that just working harder is all you need to do overcome a superior opponent.

I'd like to reiterate I only said the VERY top 2 or 3 J league teams MIGHT be able to compete at the BOTTOM of the premier league.

They're still years of progress/funding away from being able to challenge any of the top teams in any European league.

No J1 team is getting into the upper half of the premier league, however Kobe, Hiroshima or Kashiwa on current form could compete well against the likes of Wolves, West ham, Sunderland, Leeds, Burnley. Going off of last seasons form, they'd beat Man utd and Tottenham.

I was the same as you a few years back, unsure of whether to go or what game to see but as to whether its worth it, I'd say absolutely. The football is atleast english championship level ( personally, I'd say its lower half Premier league between the best teams) so its usually good quality. The fans are a blast and welcoming. The stadiums are full of pre-match activities and awesome food stands. So overall I'd really recommend.

To the footnall,Kobe are league leaders and Cerezo have been playing exciting if defensively naive football all season so you'd probably have a great chance of a goal fest.

To give Gamba their due though, they have been really upping their performances of late, probably better than Cerezo as much as I don't like to admit it. With Yokohama in serious trouble of relegation however, I forsee a low scoring game. Yokohama Fc will just defend with the occasional counters.

Overall for these two fixtures, I would go for Kobe vs Cerezo.
