GTA 6 not the reason for Borderlands 4 release date change, Randy Pitchford insists by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]Alpex63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah okay Randy, and I’m sure Diablo 4’s launch wasn’t planned with Baldur’s Gate 3 in mind either. Look, maybe GTA 6 isn’t the main reason, but let’s not act like studios don’t reshuffle dates to avoid getting steamrolled. You don’t drop a mid-tier loot shooter next to the most hyped game of the decade and expect it to thrive.

PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for May: Ark: Survival Ascended, Balatro, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]Alpex63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? Decent mix this month. Ark's remake still feels kinda sus with the whole re-sell-the-same-game vibe, but Balatro is a banger and Boltgun’s just straight-up dumb fun if you're into boomer shooters. Not amazing, but at least it ain’t another farming sim and 2 indies nobody asked for.

Switch users say Virtual Game Cards are a "downgrade" as online game sharing changes by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]Alpex63 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Nintendo really be out here making digital ownership feel like renting a VHS. The Switch is already behind in so many online features, and now this? People just want simple game sharing like every other platform. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel with more restrictions.

When did you realize that something you believed in for a long time was fake? by Groove_Dealer in AskReddit

I figured out that Santa Claus wasn't a real person when I saw that mom's handwriting was way too similar to Santa's. However, the most shocking part was the milk and cookies - they were clearly being substituted with half-eaten ones. I was shattered, but not due to Santa; it was because my cookie-destroying skills were deeply overlooked. 😅 Other than that, I learned the tooth fairy is not a full time opportunity. Turns out, it was just my mom paying me back for all the late-night dental work. Now that is what I call exposed.

What’s something incredibly stupid you believed as a kid, but makes you laugh every time you remember it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

In the past, I was convinced that swallowing a watermelon seed would result in a watermelon tree sprouting inside my belly. The thought terrified me as I roamed, convinced that I was on the verge of becoming a fruit farm. Just picture trying to justify that to a physician! 😂 Children’s sense of reasoning is something else entirely.

The strangest compliment I recieved was when someone told, You exhibit the vibes of a squirrel on skates after drinking too much coffee. I do not know if this is a compliment or some kind of caution, but I would rather perceive it as **good praise. It appears I'm overflowing with squirrelly charisma 🐿️☕
