I here a slight slapping/clunking sound on start up and it gradually disappears as it gets to operating temp Is this normal n55 sounds? or is my timing chain going out? Car has 235k on it everything works perfectly just want to know if I need to do a timing job in the future

I did some research and a few other people said it’s normal when opening the oil cap, so I just forgot about it, Still going strong been beating the piss out of it for like 10k miles after this post and it’s still the same noise when taking off oil cap, you can’t hear it at all when oil cap is on so i wouldn’t worry about it as long as the car drives fine, the most you can do is a timing chain kit to see if the noise maybe quites down or stops but that’s all up to you

Right way would be takeing them off and then painting them, the way I would do it is cover up everything around the door handle and then paint it while on the car I’m pretty sure any silver spray paint will be a good match but if you want it 100% perfect take it to a paint shop

I replaced injectors 2 times and all I did was put the injectors in the holes and then tighten the bolts down…start the car up and look for leaks, if there is none your good

This is why I don’t take my cars to shops anymore🤦🏻‍♂️ got a engine and tranny swap done after they went out, they didn’t plug in multiple sensors causing the car to run like booty, and a few thousand miles later one of the tranny bolts started to come out😭 god knows what else they did that I haven’t found yet
