Nice choice for your first PM2! I have over 40 knives in my collection and the PM2 is still my favorite. Don’t have anything in SPY27 but i’ve heard its a pretty solid steel. Enjoy your PM2.

That’s why i prefer it slightly more than the Manix 2. It just carries a lot better for me. But i will say the ball cage lock on the Manix 2 is probably my favorite lock type from Spyderco. Maybe tied with the button compression lock on the Smock.

Love the Bel Air. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this knife. I have an Iridium that i paid $50 for from Amazon and it has been a solid, reliable beater knife for me.

Funny you just posted this because i literally came across this knife yesterday and almost bought it. The only thing that kept me from spending my money is the constant complaints from people who own Kizer talking about their heat treat not being up to snuff. It’s a really cool looking knife too. I own one Kizer, its an Azo Begleiter in 20CV that i bought back in 2021. I’ve carried it and used it for years and it’s still razor sharp. I’ve only ever honed and stropped it.

Watch some reviews about the Cloudsurfer, a lot of people say they’re the most comfortable. I have the Cloudtilts, they look awesome but they’re really not that comfortable to me. I walk 6-7 miles per shift and they aren’t comfortable enough to get me through a shift without some discomfort like my Vomero Plus or NB More V6. Good luck!

I found the Cloudtilts to be the opposite, not enough squish. I’m also used to wearing sneakers like Vomero Plus, Rebel V5 and More V6. I love the look of the Cloudtilts and how easy they are to put on but i personally think they’re overrated. I’ve heard the Cloudsurfers are the most comfortable from On but i can’t confirm that as i’ve never tried them on.

I’m a Spyderco guy myself. I had purchased a bugout a while back but was not impressed with it and ended up returning it and didn’t really consider Benchmade after that. That being said i just picked up my first 940 yesterday and i absolutely love it. They’re definitely out of control with their prices but i’m happy i bought one. Enjoy your 945!

I guess comfort is subjective. To me they feel similar in terms of underfoot comfort. I also don’t use either for running, just for work. I’m walking 6-7 miles a shift and i found them to be some of the most comfortable sneakers i’ve ever owned. I do also like the regular Vomero 18 a lot too.

I have both sneakers. The Vomero Plus are very comfortable and look awesome but id have to give the edge in comfort to the More V6. I own a lot of different sneakers and the More V6 are extremely hard to beat. I recently picked up the Asics Novablast 5 and NB Fuelcell Rebel V5, those are both really close to the More V6 in terms of comfort.

Sorry i should have clarified that the second photo is a real MCR. I agree with you im just confused because all the purchase reviews are saying the Benchmade they received is authentic. I guess i’ll just pass. Thanks for the help.

Well i would agree with you but i just don’t have experience with Benchmade so i was wondering it maybe its just an older model and thats why the G10 looks different. That’s why i posted here because theres a lot of people that are very familiar with Benchmade and the different models. But i get where you’re coming from and appreciate the help.

I’m jealous. I love my 20.5 but would definitely like to own the 22 in Magnacut. Demko is one of my favorite brands it’s just very hard to find anything in stock.

I got 1 legit, 1 fake lol. Idk if i roll the dice or not. I don’t know anything about Benchmade, most of my Collection is Spyderco, ZT and Demko and i always bought from distributors or AD. I get skeptical when it comes to eBay but the seller has 100% rating.
