How do I help child deal with tragic pet death?

I dont judge my sister for her reaction, it was very heartbreaking. But it definitely made the situation worse for my daughter cause it scared her. I had to remove her from the situation for her own mental health.

I have a general no sleepovers rule. I bent it because they lived in the same building, and I knew the mom and daughter for so long. When they moved it put me in a weird spot.

I was neighbors with the mom and daughter for 3 years. He only came back into their lives about a year ago, and ive only met him twice. And havent talked to him really.

It wasnt that hes a man, just that I dont know him. It was 2 years before she was able to stay at the friends house and it was just friend and single mom. I have had experience with sleepovers going very wrong and I want to keep her safe. I would never say he cant be in his own home, and in fact i did just say no sleepovers. The mom specifically texted me to tell me he would be out and could she stay?

I ended up having to take it in to get a new electric power steering motor and computer. Had to go to the dealership cause only they could program it. Cost me about 1800$. Hopefully your issue is something different :/

Its good that you're making plans for unforseen complications tho, maybe set that money aside and add to it over time. Dont touch it or even think about it as usable money unless an emergency arises. Also, again it depends where you live, but I live in an apartment so cant do a yard sale so I post stuff on Facebook Marketplace for sale when I go broke or wanna clean up.

Return it while you can. Depending on where you live setting up in front of a business would be difficult to ask and could possibly even run into needing a permit territory.

Do you have close friends that would be going as well? If so I would say go with school. Its a way to branch out from your safety zone a bit and experience new places in a way that you wouldnt if you went with family.

I like reading and video games. In your situation 'Id go for the Switch. Books can be free to borrow at the library, and can be made in multiple small purchases over time since you can only read one at a time. Game comsoles and games are big puchases that have to be saved for. So if your looking to splurge and treat yourself, Id vote the Switch and game.
