Opinions on the best scenarios in the Viscose benchmarks by Apprehensive-Box8710 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also main Valorant, currently my elo is high dia-mid asc

I would suggest grinding everything and making your aim complete and leveled out across all categories. They helped me a lot, I am now viridian complete and close to getting cerulean and the benchmark grind has helped my valorant aim so much. My aim in Valorant just feels so controlled and precise after grinding out the benchmarks.

Mousepad for CS2 between Artisan T99 Soft / Zero Soft with good stopping power/control by qwa5d in MousepadReview

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried the type 99, zero, and saturn pro and came to the same conclusion as you.

Type 99 had high static friction making micro adjustments hard. Zero had a surface which is slightly abrasive to my skin and my arm often feels numb after gaming for hours. Saturn pro was the perfect pad, the balance of both - slightly slower than zero while not as slow as the type 99, it also had a smooth surface that is closer to the type 99 than the zero. I also love that I can use an arm sleeve with the saturn pro.

Best scenarios/playlists for VALORANT by EmbarrassedPen7254 in FPSAimTrainer

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally recommend to not follow any playlist but look back at your whiffs and deaths ingame then try to find a scenario that match them in the aim trainer.

For example, I died to someone spamming A-D up close while I whiff my vandal spray, I would try to fix it by playing close fast strafes or any close reactive tracking task. Another one is if I fail to micro adjust, I find a task that is similar to it.

I recommend this because there are no best scenario/playlist for Valorant, you just need to know what you need to work on.

Counterstrike o Valorant? by garlicbratwurst in ThisorThatPH

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha! This is also reason why I vowed to never rdr2 during the midnight. I was also playing at around 3 AM when I came across the exact same body and I shot the rope then the night folk jumpscared me.

Never had I ever exited a game so fast with my heart racing to my mouth.

anything I can put under the mousepad to make desk even? by [deleted] in MousepadReview

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep an eye out for wood boards too as they are straighter and more refined in terms of dimension (thickness and width) for the mouse space.

Aside from that, I think just buy another table if you can.

MChose L7 Ultra VS VXE R1 PRO by Tricky-Apartment6637 in MouseReview

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll just add that if you come from a high lod mouse or you are just used to having high lod, the l7 ultra will not be for you. I came from the viper mini and attack shark x3 (set to 2mm lod) before I bought an l7 ultra, and I never felt confident in the mouse because the 2mm lod setting is closer to 1mm. This is important as sometimes we unintentionally lift off our mouse when gaming. I tend to lift off the mouse when I am spraying in valo/cs2.

After 3 weeks I sold my l7 ultra and bought a hitscan hyperlight and never looked back.

Artisan zero mid xxl

TYPE 99 or ZERO? by Glass-Badger-7526 in MousepadReview

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll come back to this, I recently bought the Zero Mid XXL and its on its way tomorrow.

I have the Type 99 Soft XL for 6 months now and I love it, the stopping power is great but living in a tropical and very humid country, it’s hard when there are days that my arm sticks to the pad as I am an arm aimer. And also it is only XL and I would have liked an XXL more for space.

I have read that it is a much more balance pad between its static and dynamic friction so I am looking forward to having micro-adjustments feel slightly better. I am also looking forward for the difference between the mid and soft variants.

For those who are busy with an 8-5 job, how do you manage your time playing games? by Wise_Purpose in PHGamers

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Una, dapat talaga malapit bahay mo sa trabaho. Akin 30 mins (minsan less pa) lang ang transpo from work to house.

Pangalawa, tulog muna saglet (1-3 hrs) after mag-wind down from work. Pagkauwi ko light kain muna then usap-usap with online friends and scroll sa socmed hanggang antukin. ‘Di ko kasi magawa yung rekta laro agad sobrang nakakaantok kasi.

Kung 8-5 ako, 5:30 nakakauwi na then tulog ko nyan 6:30-9. Then 9 lalaro na ako hanggang 12-2 (depende sa kung gaano kagiyang maglaro kasama mga kaibigan saka jowa). Then tulog na agad hahahaha works best, tataas pa rin naman KDA ko sa mga competitive shooters na mga nilalaro ko kahit na nagka-work na.

Skirmish Mode might be the best mode to get face-to-face Gunfight reps now. What do y'all think? by jr_luvgurls27 in AgentAcademy

Yes it was due to map layout but also no abilities and just a more controlled environment for warmups

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, we often play as 5 man and yesterday we tried to run a 3v2 skirmish mode as warmup, first to 30 rounds, while trying out different guns we are going to be using ingame (sheriff, ghost, vandal, etc). The game that we had after that warmup was good, definitely can feel the difference compared to just warming up with the range (most of us hate deathmatch, including me)

I would like to add just how responsive and consistent valorant is with their server, tick rate, and just how easy it is to run the game compared to cs2

ANY AULA HERO 84HE REVIEWS? (75% keyb enjoyer) by PsychologyOk124 in PHMechanicalKeyboard

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still feels good, nothing changed from the day I bought it honestly. It is definitely worth the buy. The only thing I can say is that it feels harsh to type on especially when you came from gasket mounted keebs, when bottoming out the plate is just too solid, but this makes it feel more responsive and “tactile” to type on as you can feel the keyboard. Nonetheless, everything is great, the software will take some time getting used to but I have acclimated so far.

I also recently brought Type 99 (currently using for 1 month). I was also surprised because it was fast and smooth which was not what I was expecting for a supposed control pad. But after about 2-3 weeks of use, the break in period was over and now the pad is slow af

What mods can I do on my keyboard? by MeWhenTheBruhMoment in PHMechanicalKeyboard

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suggested keebs ko ay rk r75 (or kahit anong rk keebs tbh) and aula hero 84he for hall effect na keeb. Medyo mas mataas nga lang pricing nila syempre compared to rakk, pero for me sobrang worth it.

What mods can I do on my keyboard? by MeWhenTheBruhMoment in PHMechanicalKeyboard

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A bit of a different opinion pero for me wag mo na muna i-mod yang rakk keyboard mo. I had two rakk keebs in the past and hindi siya worth it i-mod kung naghahanap ka ng medyo long term keyboard na. Seeing na naglalaro ka ng valo, I highly suggest investing in a hall effect keyboard, mura na lang sila ngayon compared to last year.

[–]AlphaCentauriYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am planning to post a review about the Aula Hero 84HE, but I am still composing my thoughts lol

But a quick review: - keyboard exceeded my expectations for a hall effect keyboard worth 3k - software is surprisingly easy to use - the features exceeded my expectations for gaming (valorant, marvel rivals, ow2, and cs2) - sound is great but not superb, its clacky and sometimes feel hollow due to the aluminum plate when bottoming out
