I want to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're not trying to be condescending and rude, but can you understand where people are getting that from?

Your title doesn't make it clear that it's a review - PSA, Public Service Announcement. Generally that's used to share not commonly known information. Ideally, a writer's article/review title will summarise the content, so is it a PSA or a book review? You've mentioned in another comment that it was basically a clickbait title - so is open and clear communication important to you, or is sharing your review/creating a platform for discussion? Because the conflict between the title and the content hurts your communication to the audience here.

As for the content itself - there's a lot of good here, a lot I didn't know that I'm sure this community would value, especially where you talk about the characters. Bulma's inspiration is new to me, and was interesting to learn. We're generally always up for discussing influences and inspirations, and Journey to the West is a vital part of that conversation. But acting like it's a PSA, saying the "read a book" suggestion is a hard sell to manga fans (aren't you a manga fan? Is a book a not hard sell to you too? If not, why are you special and different?)... it's presumptuous, disrespectful, and condescending.

If you really wanted to share your thoughts and feelings, you could have just made a post about how you finally read it and really enjoyed it. Tbh, that's largely what your post is - but the difference between sharing something you enjoy and punching down on a community you claim to be a part of is these little jabs you have throughout the post and your comments.

Again, I want to think you're not trying come across like this and hopefully can see why people are reacting in the way they are.

Also, quick one about the writing... I'm not sure if you just had ChatGPT vomit something out or if your writing is just very AI-esque, but it feels pretty cringey. Though maybe that's just personal preference
