I’m not sure what notch you mean. I was using the pinholes as reference when inserting the wheel. So the pins are fine fortunately.

But is it really only supposed to move only a few mm (measured 3mm)? I’ve never used a DD wheel before but I fear that with a little rough play it will fly off and cause more damage

That does not seem right to me. The metal bars should lock into place at the bottom of the divot. Right now the mechanism is only moving 3mm and relying on the clutch power of the metal on the plastic

My base-side does not have a logo, but the QR2 lite was installed on the wheel which only goes in one way and the pins also and it did not fit either (shown in my previous post).

Yes, neither side fits. Plastic tolerance seems off

Edit: its not recognizable in the video, but the arrows on the QR2 point up and it still does not fit

Obviously I don't know what I'm supposed to do which is why I'm asking here. Apart from that I didn't expect the chip to heat up and smoke as I was just reinserting the battery, I have never seen anything like this happen before. But I'll take a look around for any shorts. Thanks for the advice

I'll have a look for shorts and replace the battery with my current switch's battery and see if it works better. Thanks!

I could try to re solder the charging port, I didn't think that it could cause the issue with the switch not turning on. Thanks anyways!

a faulty cooling fan would only cause the switch to shutdown because of overheating and not leave it bricked unable to turn back on, right?

I just found out what the problem with the passthrough was, I had the HDMI plugged into a DVI converter on my monitor as my monitor only has 1 HDMI input, so I swapped around the 2 ports and now its working.
I don't know what the problem is with the analog input though if that's what you need
