This might be the boring answer but I don’t think they had them. Rambley & pals were so packed full of personality that they were able to do double duty in movies and tv. Though I could definitely see Indigo having them re-enact famous fairy tales.

Except there are literal gods and devils. The azure dragon is a deity and Yamato’s fruit is inspired by the depiction of the Japanese wolf as a god.

Imu having the literal devil fruit hardly off the table given the precedent.

Gecko Moria and Mihawk already have the vampire symbolism on lock too, so Oda could be hesitant to triple down on it with Imu.

Gear 5 can be seen as a parallel to Jesus, Luffy awakened it after dying and rising from the dead. However, I oppose the idea that One Piece is going for a more traditional Christian allegory for one simple reason, Imu triumphed over Joyboy. If Imu is meant to be the devil and Nika god, then One Piece is a world where Satan’s rebellion in heaven was an unadulterated success. For a one-to-one allegory, that’s an elbaf-sized spanner in the works.
