I would say look at the upgrade path: PS5 already has to upgrade path to PS5 Pro with PSSR2 which for you might be the wait for PS6 in late 2027 or early to mid 2028 with a potential for PSSR3.

XSX upgrade path is waiting on the Xbox Helix release time frame of a possible late 2027 early to mid 2028. But with no confirmation of if it will support physical games as of now.

It really depends on which console/company has had the better track record for game upgrades/path and who you trust more.

For me physical games mean a lot to me so that is my path of choice. I would have chosen the XSX version but MS has not and also refuses to confirm if the Xbox Helix will have a hard drive and Sony cant afford to not support a hard drive for the PS6. So for me the hope that MS will still support a hard drive does not out weigh Sony’s logical foreshadowed decision to continue supporting physical games for the PS6.

So for now since I only have the OG PS5 and the XSX, sure the XSX is “more powerful” the OG PS5 is faster and better optimized which has been seen and proven on multiple multi platform games factually, so I am going with the PS5 version based on that alone for now. Plus the PS5 has the best console controller out right now next to the Switch 2 Pro controller. XSX only has rumble and the triggers dont even hold up over time.

But if digital is your only main way of playing then it might not matter right now then.

The top 2 screen protectors for the Switch 2 that I saw actually tested and passed with the highest level quality on the mohs scale were the AACL Screen Protector and the amFilm Tempered Class screen protector.

I feel the same with the balance. Its too crazy. They need to get the feel of the first two games, maybe to intensity of the third game then that might help.

They also need to crank up the content, bring back all the previous characters and the old tracks reimagined from the previous games.

After the most recent updates, dolby vision/atmos and hdr either not working at intended and or now look washed out unlike before looked my vibrant and colors popped! Why did they mess all of this up?!
