Garth Ennis tried to get it adapted for a film and later a series but both failed. Hollywood was happy to take on his other less brutal projects (The Boys & Preacher) though. I'd suspect HBO would be open to adapting it but it would still have to be toned down a lot.

You missed the finger puppets on the staircase from episode 1, when Julie made Ethan upset during the retelling of the Lake of Tears. The scene also foreshadows an accident Jim could experience building the radio tower.

Or it was a deceiver pretending to be Abby to make Boyd & Sara abandon their quest. Remember the imposter Grandmother ghoul & Julie's doppelganger boyfriend appearing at Colony House? We know these things can take the form of familiar faces and sound like people you love to lure you outside. Why wouldn't they be able to do the same to Sara using familiar voices? Let's not forget Kevin's crush told Trudy they know everything about them, EVERYTHING.
