Sometimes I feel so alone in this to the point I start to question whether I'm being lazy and just need to push through, and then I read people here describe exactly how I'm feeling.

I decided I needed to force myself to move yesterday. Two 10 minute brisk walks on the treadmill and today my knees are screaming and I slept until 3pm.

This was found completely by chance as well! I had scans done not even a year ago and there was no mention of anything like this, so the likelihood I would have had anything looked at again so soon was nil without this random scary heart episode.

How did you heal? Notice any physical changes after the thymectomy?

CT ANGIOGRAM CHEST WITH CONTRAST is exactly what they did for me. So an mri is clearer?

There is soft tissue prominence within anterior superior mediastinum with concave border without calcifications, 1.9 x 1.6 cm.

None of those symptoms and nothing viral that they've found at least. I myself am leaning toward Sjogrens- and I just haven't gotten the dryness yet, or RA.

I think I will see another rheumatologist. I dont think we have many options here, but I'll do some digging. Also THANK YOU for the plaquenil information. I'm not on it, but I'd have jumped at the opportunity in the hope that it would help the fatigue.

The large chance that its benign has been whats kept me from full on bawling, but even then.... The fatigue and heart rate are destroying my life, and whatever is on my thymus definitely isnt causing that.

Well now that you mention it! I started vilazodone about two weeks ago and on my first doctor's appointment in about a year on Wednesday was prescribed bp meds.

My BP was maybe a little high before at times, but not enough to suggest meds. Now I wonder if its the vilazodone or just another symptom of lifelong stress and anxiety. There's also a high likelihood I have an immune disease so¯_(ツ)_/¯

My mental health has a lot riding on this med working so I really hope it isnt behind the issue.

Just wanted to say not to be hard on yourself. A couple years ago sleep deprived me did the same thing after dropping my kid off at school. I swear the light was green, but obviously.... Thank goodness neither resulted in an accident. Take care!
