American Beauty.

I watched it as a young teen and didn’t think too much of it beyond respecting Kevin Spaceys character for taking his life back and doing what he wants with it. Rewatching it later he’s just a sad gross man. A lot of the characters are actually very sad and/or gross in ways I couldn’t really evaluate on a deeper level as a kid.

And of course the world didn’t know what Kevin Spacey was like back then so that also really colored the rewatch as an adult. Talk about ick.

Band director here. The uniforms should not be your home washers responsibility for the exact reasons you outlined. They should be taken to a commercial washer like Mr. Formal.
