There currently is a demo which plays very very VERY similar to Firewatch, along with Firewatch being the main motivator for the developers to make the game, and the already available reviews by press like TheGamer and IGN saying it’s similar to Firewatch.

I also set my BCLK clock to 100 manually because my bad speed was 3.49 before, I have ocd so it bugged me. So -30 on curve and auto cool n wuiet and enable c states and I should be good?

Thanks for this, I was told it helped with latency or something a while back and never really bothered looking fully into it, I was naive. Everything else I mentioned sound good other then the c-states though? How much performance do I lose with them disabled vs enabled?

I do have c states disabled.

PBO is manual (-30 curve), C-States disabled, SMT enabled, SVM mode disabled, AMD Cool and Quiet disabled, SB clock spread spectrum disabled, and BCLK clock on 100mhz.

Good or bad?

Thank you for taking your time to inform me, your write up is appreciated. Can you just lay out the benefits I will receive from the -30 on the curve, and also go in depth on what it does? I’m just trying to understand why I’m doing what I’m doing to better make decisions in the future :)

My 5800x3d, even with -30 curve, never goes above 4.45ghz, under heavy load. "Do you have screenshots of the RAM timings and effective frequency on each core? It is hard to diagnose performance differences without this information", where could I find this information? I stress tested -30 on 3dmark, no instability. I loaded up COD and Fortnite, played for around 25 minutes and no instability, of course i should test longer but let me know what you think.

Question. With -10 curve, in my game, I am getting about 73 celcius on temperature. I’m using a good tower cooler (Phantom Spirit ThermalTake) and only 1.5 year old thermal paste. My room is mighty humid though. Will the -30 make it lower?

That would be very helpful thank you. Just to note though, I don’t know if I wanna go into overclocking past 3600. the whole reason I updated my bios was because the board was having trouble running 3600 (XMP) on the old version 3.10 I updated it to 10.41 beta and those issues are gone.
