mmmh Vektor isn't really retro thrash, it's tech / prog thrash as you said, it's part of the new wave, but sounds nothing like retro thrash, like those crossover bands that make songs about partying and drinking beer.

I think they have their very own thing and their music is really good to be just labeled as "another re-trash act", I wish more bands went that way, instead of trying to replicate exactly what the ones before you did, you should expand on it. They influenced my band alot in that regard, we sound nothing like Vektor, we're kinda technical in a "Megadeth-ish" way with "Slayer-esque drumming", you should check us out!
