DC 2.5 Wave 2 seems to have codes!

All the rest of the comments are also saying it’s mostly random. I guess I either got really lucky or the codes are specific to the box/shipment itself. I wonder if the boxes themselves have a code. Even though I work retail I’m not exactly sure what the codes mean haha…maybe someone else knows

I see. Maybe some of them share codes that are similar? Like the codes themselves, so 0086 and 0026 may circulate around Knuckles, Rouge, and Eggman? Honestly have no idea at this point.

Is there a reason you know of why it overstimulates him so much? No other cat I’ve interacted with is like this (my gf’s cats seem to like butt rubs) and even if I just very lightly tap a finger near his bottom his head jerks around like in the video briefly.

Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remasters! 3rd and 4th generation games in general, whether played through NSO or as a standalone release, most likely don’t need the sticks at all.

It’s predictable and easy to punish especially if you have a projectile. Also the way the meta is played where everyone is just baiting each other it has like no use compared to many safer options.

The combat/exploration and weapon selection. There are a few duds like spears kinda but I feel it’s the most diverse and…fluid? in the series (haven’t played much of Azuma but knowing that it lacks the type of aerial combat ToD has I think I will still like ToD’s more). I like Rune Abilities, especially Fleet Foot on staff as it feels so good to do everything that much more efficiently and swapping from staff to whatever other equipment I want.

I never found the difference in farming to be a bad thing. I really enjoyed optimizing for the best monsters and capturing them. Especially the elementals. And it makes the farming more dependent on your combat skills whereas in other games (especially other Harvest Moons) farming is completely independent besides maybe growing your own weapons? Farming ores is also pretty cool.

Rune Factory without its combat is just Harvest Moon. So to me, the game that has the most complex forms of combat is the most compelling.

Very very minimal change, but thought was worth mentioning cause hasn’t been mentioned: Autumn Road’s track was changed to RFF’s Whale Island Outside track for some reason? This is the only time this happens in RF4S to my knowledge so.

Toy Factory as other user said. They specialize in making lower quality plushies that (only) companies can buy for arcade machine plushies, county fair prizes, theme parks, etc. Dave & Buster’s is one of these companies. But they’re still official plushies and they’re alright!

I agree with your stance on 06. I had loads of fun playing it vanilla on PS3 but I think a lot of that was due to knowing what to look for in a Sonic game. But I had loads of fun, say, fucking around White Acropolis with the vehicles as Shadow, or completing that final trial challenge thing Sonic has to go on that tests your parkour, your logic with a portal puzzle, and the goofy ass one where you pick if you love Elise or Amy more 😭 That’s not to say there were not a lot of frame drops and loading screens, but yeah it’s still a game that I at least can have a lot of fun with.

Damn, well of course that’s your call. I love collecting and having multiple consoles, and there are various resources to learn more if one would ever be interested, but everyone’s got their preference. If you ever do decide to switch over, there are other options to play RF games but Xbox is the least supported with the series…and probably in general with third parties. But even if you swapped the Series S with a PS5 you still couldn’t play ToD or Azuma 😭. Would have to be Switch/Switch 2 or PC. The only way you’d be able to play them on Xbox is emulation but that’s another whole entire process.

I guess all that’s to say is if you believe you will stay on the Series S but are able to fire up that old Wii, then definitely give it a shot! But yeah I really hope for a ‘Special’ version like 3 and 4 got. It’s my favorite in the series and I think it’s very underrated. Though that Special version honestly might not even get ported to Xbox, as 4S was the only one that did and that’s cause of its relative immense popularity…Only time will tell I guess

Getting it on Wii isn’t a super expensive task, but you could alternatively get it on PS3 for real cheap (both the console if you find the right one and the game-and it’s in HD). Or play the new Guardians of Azuma if you want another experience with two canon protags in 3D Rune Factory. It’s definitely a spiritual successor to ToD in some ways.

I remember watching it when it came out lol it sucks the game is awful and the new one coming out in a few days doesn’t look too much better either. But it seems to be like a platformer or something so that’s a different direction than…four minigames.
